Junior Finance Analyst

Exciting new opportunity for a Junior Finance Analyst to join a travel company in Witney, Oxfordshire, on a 6 month fixed-term contract with the possibility of it becoming a permanent position after that. As Junior Finance Analyst you would

  • support the Commercial Finance team in the production of reporting on enquiries, quotes, conversions, bookings, sales, GOP, as well as other non-financial KPIs
  • prepare weekly dashboards and trading reports for business unit level review meetings
  • work with and provide modelling and support to the FP&A team to plan for growth, including resourcing for supporting new projects for growth and long-term planning/forecasting
  • support the Commercial Finance team in producing reporting for department heads to track performance on KPIs and cost control against agreed budgets / plans
  • support the ongoing development of management information / performance measure systems and data
  • carry out reconciliations of financial information between the front end sales system and the accounting system
  • extract detailed financial information & KPIs from the sales system to ensure early indicators are tracked and monitored
  • conduct analysis of country level profitability and supplier rates/input costs
  • format, load & review of budgets into the finance system
  • provide support for the five year strategic plan, periodic re-forecasts and annual operating plan for the Group including analysis of investment proposals
  • undertake ad hoc financial reviews and investigations as required
