IT Senior Project Manager - SC Cleared

Description of Project:

Senior PM. Providing Team management of 20 staff for a Datacentre design, build and Security assurance of a solution to achieve Security accreditation and approval for a go live date. Manages team to achieve outputs to meet Technical and Security Accreditor's approval. To complete the Datacentre build and to enable the various teams to use the Platform for their deliverables.

Job Purpose & Accountability:

• Ability to work in a changing environment.
• Good Senior PM disciplines - Project plans/ reports / risk management
• Defines the project requirements and manages the agreement process of the project requirements and objectives with the Project Board or appointed project assurance role.
• Manages the production of the required products and the delivery of the project in partnership with the customer and Business Unit to ensure acceptance, closedown and handover to service.
• Manages the delivery of the project/multiple projects in partnership with the customer and to ensure acceptance, closedown and handover to service.
• Defines the project requirements and manages the agreement process of the project requirements and objectives with the Project Board or appointed project assurance role.
• Gather status reports for team members across their projects and addresses issues as appropriate.

Skills - Mandatory:

• Very strong customer facing skills - this role involves a close working relationship with the customer, setting their expectations.
