Exciting new opportunity for an IT Procurement Lead or IT Procurement Officer with IT Categories Management experience and advanced Word skills (including document amendments/mark ups) to join a mobile telecommunications company in Reading on a permanent basis.

As IT Procurement Manager you would be responsible for functional sourcing management across set commodities, specifically around Information Technology equipment, software and services suppliers.

Key features would include:

• Negotiating agreements, pricing and identifying savings opportunities
• Conducting commercial reviews for each Statement of Works to mitigate and manage commercial risks
• Working with technical / project teams to lead commercial reviews and create / lead competitive processes
• Creating tenders and lead commercial negotiations using established commercial processes and ensuring you represent the strategic requirements of the company and its shareholders
• Drafting and awarding supplier contracts with support from the legal team and external legal outsource supplier, as required
• Reviewing statements of works and contract change notes under existing framework agreements, with preferred suppliers
