Incident Manager (ITIL)

3 Month + Contract

Maidenhead, Berkshire

Incident Manager - sitting within the Centre of Excellence / Service Assurance team, we are looking for an experienced 'hands on' Incident Manager. You will not only manage a 24/7x365 team, you will provide direction for all major incidents (P1 & P0 Incidents), you will also manage and interface with key 3rd party suppliers.

Working in an ITIL environment, you will be responsible for the governance of the full E2E Incident Management process - ensuring timely response to incident reports, monitoring resolution activity and keeping the business updated with progress towards service restoration. You will be responsible for effectively managing partners around incident, problem and change management and also be able to challenge 3rd party incidents and escalations.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Proven experience within Incident Management
  • Experience managing a 24/7/365 incident team
  • Good service management / service delivery experience
  • ITIL certified
  • Must have managed 3rd party / vendors
  • Experience of making recommendations for improvements which are in line with wider business strategies
  • Strong influencing and team management skills
