Head of People - Mobile Telecoms - Berkshire

Exciting new opportunity for a Head of People to work for a mobile telecoms organisation in Berkshire

Role:

Be responsible for setting and creating the People Agenda

Define, build and grow the culture, driving high performance, engagement and delivery

Manage and lead the people team to deliver the People Agenda. Setting and sharing the vision, cascading information with the wider People Team to ensure everyone is working towards a common goal.

Develop the People policies, frameworks and processes to support the people agenda ensuring they are capable of being delivered by outsourced providers where necessary

Support the business to manage headcount and resource plans for shared, unilateral and project work

Business partner to the extended leadership team, understand and input to the business goals and challenges; identify business and HR opportunities to support these, agree and deliver a plan

Must Have:

Previous generalist HR experience working at equivalent level and alongside senior stakeholders

Track record of delivering change within a fast paced environment

Strong business partnering experience

Knowledge of current and forthcoming employment legislation

Keen interest in external market factors and industry developments

Be able and willing to be hands on (writing policies, putting together presentation packs etc)

A proven track record in continuous improvement and an understanding of how to drive high and manage high performance teams
