Brief Overview:

Responsible for managing a variety of managed service contracts with high value (£80m) with end to end responsibility from RFx stage through to operational delivery oversight

Part of the business leadership team and will be expected to have an an input into the development of the wider business, mentoring, thought-leadership, continuous improvement outside of their functional remit

To ensure that strategic and BAU activities across the Contract and Supplier Management Team are managed and delivered appropriately.

Support the Operations Director to translate business initiatives into a vision for the team and to identify, develop and deliver the roadmap for Operations Directorate to deliver short term and long term needs.

Accountable for managing and influencing all operational and associated suppliers

Effectively managing suppliers through governance

Providing insight on supplier performance and challenge where necessary

Essential skills:

Responsibility for a variety of Managed Service Contracts within mobile telecoms - multi-£m and multi-year

Experience working within a mobile telecoms managed service provider

Strong background in Service Management end to end within Mobile Networks Operations

Experience of change/transformation of major managed service agreements

Extensive knowledge of the development and management of operational support contracts

Experience working in a complex managed service environment

Experience managing technical contracts and suppliers and who has been involved for the end to end delivery of a Managed Service from RFx to Delivery Management

Knowledge of LTE/3G/GSM, MW Radio Transmission, PDH/SDH/IP back-haul transmission networks

Experience dealing with confrontation

Thorough knowledge of the management of outsourcing
