Full Stack Java Web Developer

A Full Stack Web Developer is required by a fledgling start up whose clients are within the Mobile Telecommunications sector.

The Full Stack Web Developer will be versatile and technically strong. Working alongside a Java Developer you will be responsible for supporting existing systems, new development and bug fixing.

The Full Stack Web Developer will need to thrive in a small team environment where you will need to be proactive and add value. Every day will be different and this will suit someone who likes flexibility and likes using their own initiative. There will be a lot of learning involved in this particular role so you would need to be interested in picking up different technologies and have a flexible and pragmatic approach.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

• Java, Java EE (Tomcat)
• Web Mapping Technologies including UI design and development
• Modern web technologies JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JSON
• Back end MySQL database development and administration
• Linux
• Agile approach to Software delivery

You will ideally be degree educated in Computer Science or a related subject and have proven experience in software development and applications.

The business activity is for this role is centred around Cambridge and London with a mixture of hot desking in London and South east and home working.
