I am recruiting for a Financial Reporting Manager to work for my client, a leading mobile telecommunicaitons company based in Berkshire.
The role in a nutshell - The successful candidates will be going into the business to ultimately design, develop and implement a new "flash" reporting pack for the SMT. Close interaction with the CFO and Chief Commercial Officer in terms of understanding business requirements/business needs and designing new management reporting packs to reflect these.
Advanced Excel is essential for this role.
The role will involve the below -
Model scenarios developed by the business leads to understand the financial and key business indicator implications, while assessing how that compares to the business forecast/budget.
Challenge the assumptions of the various initiatives with business leads to ensure robust business cases are developed.
Business partner with business leads and provide guidance on the implications of decisions and options.
Present the financial summary and impacts of options to various levels of seniority.
Build detailed bottoms up financial plans for each business area that can be executed and compared against to assess performance.
Skills, Experience and Qualification.
Higher level of academic qualifications (e.g. degree)
Excellent MS Excel and Powerpoint skills
Previous hands on experience in business casing and modelling.
Experience of interfacing with commercial teams.
