Job Description
A leading Property and Real Estate organisation in London are recruiting for a Financial Accountant to join their talented Finance team:
- Manage the end to end Accounts Payable function
- Communicate across departments to resolve queries, including with non-Finance staff
- Assist in verification of payment request applications
- Review and analyse commercial contracts
- Cash flow management and fund management
- Understand, implement and streamline internal procedures to increase efficiency
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly management reports by collecting data, analysing and investigating variances, summarising data, information and trends
- Produce monthly bank reconciliations
- Respond to financial queries through data interpretation and analysis
- Provide advice on operational finance issues
- Ad-hoc reporting for Finance Managers
Key Requirements/Skills
- Knowledge of IAS and UK GAAP
- Finance related degree
- Strong Excel knowledge with an understanding of VBA
- Statistical analysis
- Information and management reporting experience
- Strong communication skills
