Finance Manager - Reporting - Commercial/Stakeholder/CIMA/ACCA

Recruiting immediately, on a contract basis, for a fantastic client close to Maidenhead.

As the Finance Manager (Reporting) you'll articulate financial reports across the business and externally. You'll be responsible for communicating our financial position, identifying opportunities to streamline our financial reporting and analytics to senior leaders.

The Finance Manager will work collaboratively with other functions to ensure a full understanding of business drivers and insight to improve financial reporting. It's essential you have experience in delivering financial reporting and can adapt your style to suit all types.

This role reports to the Head of Central Business Planning and is accountable for internal and external communications of relevant Executive & Operational reports and performance indicators that provide a clear view of financial position and business performance, in a timely manner. The area will drive greater awareness of business drivers that affect performance and own the standardisation of metrics and reporting presentation. This role will be responsible to work in partnership with IT teams to enhance and streamline reporting activities through the use of finance systems, analytic and reporting tools.

Role & Responsibilities

Using financial and business experience and knowledge, this role is responsible for leading, challenging and influencing business stakeholders to support them in delivery of functional goals to support the overall corporate strategy. The role is designed to support business stakeholders in the build and execution of functional plans providing financial expertise to assist and guide on decision making. The role also manages the relevant financials for the assigned area and analyses the market to proactively identify any risks and/or opportunities. The role will also provide guidance & direction to other finance professionals in developing high performing finance talent.

  • Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA)
