Job Description

A Finance Manager - Planning & Reporting is required by pioneering Mobile Telecommunications.

The Finance Manager will lead all aspects of the financial planning cycle and financial management reporting.

The Planning area of the role also covers analysis & challenge of activities and costs facing into the shareholders to explain and justify the budgeted activities and financials, as well as preparing Board Papers relating to the plans clearly and concisely. In respect of Accounting, the role also covers running all audit matters and Accounting policy application.

The Finance Manager will also cover other key areas such as budget and forecasting which includes running the end to end budgeting process, modelling the financial effects and preparing presentations to explain the budgets / forecast. Financial and Management reporting is another key element of the role, for monthly management accounts and audits.

Candidates will be a Qualified Accountant who has experience of working within a fast paced technology led environment - ideally mobile telecoms. You will have financial and management accounting experience with in-depth knowledge of budgeting / forecasting processes. You will have previous experience in adapting reporting to keep up with changes in the business and be skilled in maintaining and improving finance planning and reporting systems.
