For our client, a provider of a wide range of digital solutions and managed services which makes it a leading partner for customers across national, regional and local government, health & care, education and public safety,we are looking for a .NET Software Engineer that would:

Job details and requirements

  • Design, code and test simple high-level items downwards
  • Assist with system integration
  • Work under supervision and direction of senior staff and Delivery Managers
  • Communicate workload status and be translate technical/non-technical information as required
  • Contribute back to end client to ensure they receive the best return on outsource investment
  • Contribute in daily stand up meetings
  • Report on progress and escalate issues in a timely manner.
  • Work in Agile methodologies
  • Represent the company whilst on client site in a professional manner

Technical Skills

We believe in using the right technologies to solve each problem, so the technologies we use will vary from project to project. 3+ year's professional experience in some of the following, with specialist knowledge of .NET Development

  • .NET
    • C#
    • MVC
    • SQL Server/ANSI SQL
  • Web technologies
  • JavaScript
    • Web API's
    • Some HTML/CSS Helpful

Experience in Bedrock/Linux distributions is beneficial.

Essential Competences

  • Current SC Clearance is essential for this role
  • 3+ Years working with the above technical requirement
  • Experience as a MS Full Stack / .NET developer
  • Commercial experience on customer site is highly beneficial
  • Strong communicator, able to translate technical/non-technical
  • Proactive approach to SDLC and Agile working
  • Able to work under direction in a large project team
  • Presentable, Approachable, professional and comfortable working on client sites
  • Experience in Agile SDLC environments with contributory approach to Daily Stand up
  • Identify when there is something else that can be done to support the end client, and act accordingly
