JOB CONTEXT

  • You will work with the Content Management Systems every day creating new web experiences and maintaining existing websites.
  • You will work closely with business stakeholders, focusing on a timely delivery of price plan information.
  • You will add value through your knowledge of digital best practices such as accessibility.
  • You value great customer experience.
  • You will be a pro-active communicator.
  • You will be an integral member of a commercial project team responsible for delivering campaigns with significant business and customer benefits.
  • You will test new content and functionality is fit for purpose before it goes live to users.

PROBLEMS FACED

  • You will contribute to improving the way we work by suggesting efficiency savings and raising requests for tool improvements.

PLANNING AND ORGANISATION

  • You are an organised individual with good time management skills.
  • You will be one of a team of 14 Digital Site Builders.

WORKING CONTACTS

  • You will work closely with creative team, technical teams (Development Managers and external developers), all members of the Online team.
  • You will be an integral member of an empowered, team and expected to contribute to team direction.

The Main Description:

  • Responsible for Content Management on website
  • Working with the team to ensure quality of the final delivery.
  • Estimation of time required for content changes, informing, and managing stakeholders' expectations.
  • Collaboration with the other Digital Site Builders, learning from and sharing knowledge with them.
  • Working in a small team of people responsible for price changes and commercial BAU.

Skills, Experience and Qualification.

Must Have:

  • Experience of working with Content Management tools.
  • Experience of working to tight deadlines and delivering under pressure.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Knowledge of web accessibility standards.
  • Knowledge of on page SEO.
  • An ability to work with the creative side of a business and an appreciation of front end web design principles.

Nice to Have:

  • Some knowledge of HTML.
  • Knowledge of Fatwire Content Management System.
  • Experience in e-commerce platforms.
  • Be up to date with emerging digital trends.
  • Test and quality assurance experience.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop.
