DevOps Engineer - Linux

6 Month Contract, Cambridgeshire

Project People are working with a Global Telecommunications Company that are hiring a several DevOps Engineers to complete a 6 month contract based in Cambridgeshire.

Essential Experience:

• At least 5 years as an IT professional in Linux DevOps role with expertise in a wide variety of infrastructure technologies.
• At least 5 years programming/scripting experience in Python/Bash/Ruby
• Admin experience with cloud technologies (e.g. AWS, OpenStack)

Desirable Experience:

• Experience with development and administration in a range of tools: Red Hat, CentOS, DNS, PKI, Apache, Nginx, Checkpoint firewall, VMware, Nagios, Zabbix, Bash, Python, Ruby, Perl and JavaScript, TCP, AWS, MongoDB, NetApp, Docker, Jenkins, AWS, Puppet, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Chef, Ansible, Salt, Vagrant, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes and Apache Hadoop.
• Knowledge of unicast video delivery systems and typical network topologies used in unicast video delivery deployments desirable
