Job Description
Design Engineer - Radio & Hardware - Mobile Telecoms - Permanent Opportunity - Berkshire
Role:
Be technical specialist in the fields of site design, construction and active hardware integration
Produce design guidance documentation to articulate specifications and best -practise to design suppliers
Provide input on existing / proposed site design methodologies relating to efficiencies, safety and cost during construction
Supporting the manager and being able to produce presentations and being able to explain the impact of the design
Provide design support to infrastructure maintenance teams
Site visits
Maintain radio and hardware areas of design manual.
Essential Skills:
Experience of side design - mobile telecoms radio equipment, antennas and enclosures - Active & Passive experience
Supplier and stakeholder management
Broad knowledge of telecoms infrastructure and suppliers
Knowledge/experience of working on Beacon/O2/Telefonica/Vodafone related projects
Construction management, rigging, civils, active installations
AC/DC Electrical design/build experience
AutoCAD
