Data Security Officer - Permanent - Berkshire

We are working alongside a leading Telco brand to recruit a Data Security Officer to manage information security policies and standards.

The role of Data Security Officer will define and maintain policies along with managing and maintaining security accreditation (ISO27001 and CAS(T))

As a Data Security Officer you will be responsible for elements such as:

• Defining and maintaining security policies & standards
• Managing security accreditation (ISO etc)
• Managing security incidents
• Preparation of updates to SMT
• Internal and external audits to verify compliance
• Undertaking of security tests (PEN etc)
• Analysing trends to provide recommendations for improvements

As a Data Security Officer you will demonstrate and enhance your skills within:

• Implementation of Security standards (ISO or CAS(T))
• Proven background within ISO
• Industry certification such as CISSP / CISM / CISA
• Ability to design and execute security awareness campaigns
