Data Security Officer - IT - Reading, Berkshire with flexible working - Permanent.

A leading mobile telecoms company is searching for a Data Security Officer - IT to join their team in Reading, Berkshire on a permanent basis.

Role:

The Data Security Officer - IT will define and maintain policies along with managing and maintaining security accreditation (ISO27001 and CAS(T)).

• Defining and maintaining security policies and standards.
• Managing security accreditation (ISO etc).
• Managing security incidents.
• Preparation of updates to SMT.
• Internal and external audits to verify compliance.
• Undertaking of security tests (PEN etc).
• Analysing trends to provide recommendations for improvements.

Skills and Experience Required:

• Implementation of Security standards (ISO or CAS(T)).
• Proven background within ISO.
• Industry certification such as CISSP / CISM / CISA.
• Ability to design and execute security awareness campaigns.
