Data Core / Packet Core Designer - Contract - Berkshire

A Global Telecoms Organisation are seeking to Recruit a Packet Core Design Engineer to assist in delivering Packet Switched Core design solutions and evaluate any new software releases into the Packet Core network. As a Packet Core Design Engineer you will also be responsible for the HLD and DLD designs & solutions, platform design and platform integration.

As a successful Packet Core Design Engineer you will be required to not only Lead the delivery of Packet Core projects and deliver them to SLA's, you will also be required to manage potential Vendors and Internal Teams. While in the role of Packet Core Design Engineer you will also be developing and delivering cost efficient delivery plans.

A successful Packet Core Design Engineer should be able to demonstrate the following skills:

• Working knowledge of 3G Packet Core elements.
• Understanding of E2E 3G and 2G Network Architecture.
• Have an understanding of how 3G networks are moving towards 4G.
• Up to date understanding of LTE networks and associated technologies (IMS / RCSe and CSFB)
