As Customer Applications Architect you will be working on a leading customer rewards app for a well-known Mobile Telecoms company based in Berkshire. You will play a key role in delivering ecommerce and payment solutions for mobile applications (iOS and Android).

What you'll be involved in:

• Working with the business and technical stakeholders to understand and capture business problems and requirements to design and build solutions
• Provide strategic, architectural direction, technology choices and solutions for consumer facing mobile applications that enable a world-class user experience
• Provide technical leadership in end to end design, development, and testing of solutions in an Agile environment
• Keeping up to date on cutting edge technologies and effectively incorporating that knowledge into the platform roadmap, design and implementation
• Assist development teams in migrating applications into azure

What we are looking for:

• Previous experience in a mobile software architectural role
• Experience with full software development lifecycle, including all of the following - design, coding, testing, release and maintenance
• Strong hands-on experience building consumer facing mobile solutions for iOS and Android (ideally commercial, customer engagement apps)
• Deep knowledge of scalability, security and maintainability of high volume applications
• Proficient with demonstrable experience in Agile and Srum practices
• Ability to define solutions from very high-level business ideas, describing and addressing functional and non-functional requirements
• Experience integrating COTS products and bespoke applications
• Experience with multichannel solutions
