About The Company

My client, based in the Berkshire area, are one of the leading network, telecommunications and mobile technology companies in the UK. They looking for a Content Editor to join their multi-disciplined agile team of digital experts to help shape and improve customers' experiences across all channels using the latest technologies.

About The Role

You will be the sole person responsible for uploading content into to the CMS for consumption within their mobile app. You will be accountable for the quality of your own work and responsible for collaborating with the team to improve the quality of both the app and the content.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for Content Management on within the Mobile App CMS creating new web experiences and maintaining existing websites when needed.
  • Working with the team to ensure quality of the final product.
  • Responsible for sourcing images and editing them as needed.
  • Estimation of time required for content changes, informing, and managing stakeholders' expectations.
  • Working in cross functional teams to nurture and drive solutions.
  • Accountable for reporting problems and suggesting improvement.
  • Responsible for problem solving within the app CMS.
  • You will have to source imagery and manipulate images for ingestion into the CMS.
  • You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and to deliver solutions.

Skills Needed

  • Experience of working with Content Management tools.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Experience of working to tight deadlines and delivering under pressure.
  • An ability to work with the creative side of a business and an appreciation of front end web design principles.
  • Experience of Adobe Photoshop for image manipulation.

Nice to Have:

  • Some knowledge of HTML.
  • Experience in e-commerce platforms.
  • Experience of working in the Agile methodology.
  • Be up to date with emerging digital trends.
  • Test and quality assurance experience.
