Commercial Finance Manager - sitting within the PAYG Commercial Finance team of a leading Mobile Telecoms company you will be responsible for supporting the Head of Finance with all commercial finance duties. You will be based out of my clients offices in central Maidenhead and this contract will run initially until end of this year.

This is a highly visible role and will give you the opportunity to work cross functionally with a wide variety of teams including Trading and and propositions, marketing, insights/analytics, sales, finance and technology. As Commercial Finance Manager you will play a key role partnering with the Head of PAYG Acquisition providing commercial financial oversight to drive the growth of the customer base, and also the Head of PAYG In-life to drive improvements in customer activity.

Commercial Finance Manager - responsibilities:

• Forecasting and budgeting
• Support all financial aspects of the PAYG line of business and support the PAYG analysts at month end to provide commentary and direction to the business

Skills & Experiences Required:

• ACCA or CIMA certified (or equivalent)
• Strong post qualification experience within a relevant commercial finance manager position
• Strong business partnering
• Previously worked either within a telecoms or fast paced technology industry
• Proven experience working on business cases, particularly comfortable with reviewing/challenging of assumptions/benefits, including post implementation reviews
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong Excel modelling skills and advanced Excel
• Strong forecasting and budgeting, must be able to understand key drivers
• Experience of month end and providing succinct commentary
• Excellent attention to detail
