Cloud Solution Architect (Azure) - Contract - Bracknell, Berkshire.

A leading IT services company is searching for a Cloud Solution Architect with strong Azure knowledge to join their team in Bracknell on a contract basis.

Role:

The Cloud Solution Architect will work at senior management level to define and deliver major technical projects / strategies / architectures, demonstrating an understanding of the customers' business and commercial issues and contribute key insights. Changes to service, process, organization, operating model and other aspects may be required in addition to technology components, and solutions must demonstrate how agreed requirements (such as automation of business processes) are met.

Skills and Experience Required:

Candidates will need strong experience of release delivery pipeline into Azure.

Candidates should have knowledge of how Azure should be used to deliver change quickly and efficiently into a multi-environment cloud solution.

Experience of Building and Delivering a CI/CD Pipeline to Cloud (Azure) for a Large application / infrastructure delivery organisation.

Experience of release management in a complex environment with many components and particularly how to automate release approvals and gates in tooling through several environments from Development to Production.

• Tooling choices are Ansible, Sonarqube, Subversion, Github, Jira, Jenkins.
• Cloud Environment is Azure using both Windows and RedHat environments.
