A leading telecoms company is searching for a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) to join their team in Dublin, Ireland on a contract basis.
The Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) will be responsible for improving the security posture of the organisation and provide on-site advice on all Information Security related issues.
The CISO role is to fulfil all areas where a Chief Information Security Officer would be responsible and must have the relevant accreditation and certification.
The Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) should have extensive experience in both creation and review of an organisation Information Security Management System (ISMS) and Supporting Policy, Procedures, and Standards. This can be completed to industry best practices, and/or aligned with Information Security Standard ISO-27001 and/or aligned to group requirements or policies.
The Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) must have considerable experience in both performing risk assessment at a project and/or solution level, and designing a Systems Development Life-cycle detailing the various security input and points where security is recommended as part of this life-cycle.
The Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) will provide the role of general advice and security consultancy on all areas of Information Security. It is envisaged this would be provided directly by the on-site security officer who is highly experienced in the area of Information Security.
