Job Description

Working within an Emergency Services Network (ESN) programme, key responsibilities include:
- Manage the Change mailbox, responding to emergency requests in a timely manner.
- Run reports at specific times as per requirements.
- Ensure that all emergency changes contain required justification, sponsorship and detail to enable approvals.
- Assist the Change Manager in trend analysis of Permit Efficiency and Utilisation to identify areas for improvement for Small Works Contractors.
- Ensure outages requested are realistic and aligned to the type of activity being completed.
- Monitor and measure network availability thresholds and quotas.
- Assist the Change Manager in trend analysis of Change KPI's to identify areas of improvement.
- Attend weekly Change Review Boards.
- Attend daily/weekly Network Availability meetings.
- Perform impact and risk assessment of changes to ensure minimal disruption to services and customers.
- Identify areas for improvement in the Availability, Change, Site Access and Lockdown processes
Essential Requirements:
- ITIL Foundation V3 certified
- Proven experience of Change/ Service Management within an IT/Telecoms environment.
- Excellent communication skills, particularly around questioning.
- Computer and software package knowledge- Excel (advanced) and PowerPoint.
- Ability to learn and apply new technologies.
- Experience of working independently and as part of a team.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
Desirable Skills:
- RAN experience.
- Release management experience.
- Experience with IT Service Management tools.
- Relationship building skills.
- Customer focused and business aware.
- Results and deadline oriented.
