Build Manager / QS Lead - Mobile Telecoms

Build Manager - QS - Mobile Telecoms - Berkshire - 6 months+

Exciting new opportunity to work with a leading mobile operator as a Build Manager. Hybrid working with 2 days / week in the office.

• Reporting to the Deployment Lead, you will be responsible for sites throughout the full Build lifecycle, delivering against a number of scopes, up to Site Acceptance. You will work closely with Delivery and DICI Managers to ensure efficiency and "right first time" delivery maintaining accountability until site is successfully On Air and fault free.

Role:

• Managing Small Works Contractor, Principal Contractor and Partners to deliver site upgrades and site new Builds to provide improved Network coverage
• Analysis and implementation of site design rigging data sheets and BOM construction
• Reviewing and approving Tenders and Final Accounts.
• Organise and coordinate the roll-out of sites, ensuring that they are delivered in line with the contractual requirements; minimising customer impact due to repeat visits/outages or critical dependencies
• Manage sites through a controlled program of works ensuring that all works are undertaken to budget and within SLA

Experience required:

• Looking for a Build Manager who has experience in all the above
• Demonstrable experience in leading and managing Telecommunication Build roll-out. Experience of at least 2 of the following preferred: Upgrade, New Build, Decom and Swap projects
• Experience in tender reviews and approvals and contract management
• "First time right" mentality
