Due to recent expansion within the International Carrier services team, my client are currently recruiting for an Account Manager with experience in the mobile telecoms network area to join them on a permanent basis at their offices in south west London.

My client are a global multinational telecoms company and your role will involve managing all aspects of the relationship with external suppliers and the Group network partners. As Account Manager you will be responsible for maximising external opportunities for the Group whilst maintaining ongoing support to OpCos, reviewing commercial agreements to ensure the best possible service is being maintained. This is not a sales based role, you will be managing the relationships with external partners, ensuring they are delivering to required service levels and negotiating new agreements.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the process for roaming discount agreements including all negotiations
• Liaise with cross-functional teams when negotiating contracts
• Work closely with OpCos and Group teams to evaluate and propose solutions and new business opportunities based on analysis
• Develop strategic financial models across the group

Skills & Experience Required:

• Background from a mobile operator, understanding of the mobile network environment and how changes to technology affect the industry
• Experience working in an international environment or dealing with various cultures in a business environment
• Proven Account Manager experience
• Experience in negotiating commercial agreements
• Proven ability to manage multiple accounts at one time, while maintaining a high level of attention to detail
• Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
• Strong track record of financial modelling and analysis
