Job Description

2nd Line Windows Server Support Engineer (Windows Server 2008/2012/2016, AD, Keytabs, DNS, DHCP, PKI, VMWare, Hyper-V, Visual Basic, PowerShell) is urgently required by our Global IT Services Company for an initial 6 months rolling contract, to be based in Southend on Sea, Essex.

Responsibilities & Skills:

  • The successful applicant will be an experience 2nd Line Windows Server Support specialist
  • Must have significant windows server 2008/2012/2016 support & administration experience
  • In depth knowledge & experience, including configuration of Windows Domain Infrastructure including Active Directory, Keytabs, DNS, DHCP and Public Key Infrastructure
  • VMWare and Hyper-V experience
  • Good analytical & problem solving skills
  • Administrative scripting experience using Visual Basic and/or PowerShell.
