IT Managed service seeks a 2nd Line Support to work on 24/7 shift pattern (4 on 4 off).
Incidents and Alerts Management of Major Incidents relating to the Infrastructure. Issue User Awareness via CASD. Liaise with NOC/SOC and Duty Manager to ensure progression of incidents. Heightened/Critical User Support Out of hours 1st and 2nd line support for Heightened/Critical Users. Liaison with on call RG representatives. Web Support Monitor and support Microsoft Sharepoint Portal Server 2003, Internet Information Server (IIS) and Windows.
Mandatory Skills Required: Good recording and administration skills. DV Clearance or ability to gain clearance. Good customer facing skills. 1st Line fix experience. TSS.2 Skills.
Desirable Skills Required: Will need to be conscientious; have an eye for detail and accuracy; be self-motivated but also work as part of a team; be a good communicator; be able to quickly learn and implement Programme specific methodologies; be able to present ideas to a wide audience; be pragmatic, but when required will be able to enforce the prevalent requirements and standards.
