A 2nd Line IT Support Technician is required by a pioneering mobile telecommunications organisation.
The 2nd IT Support Technician will support the organisation by being responsible for the ongoing administration of the tools and systems infrastructure.
The role will cover daily management of the IT platform, resolution of system problems, responding to usage trends with appropriate capacity growth, monitoring the backup regime and implementing a disaster recovery plan
Candidates will have previously carried out a 2nd line IT support role and have strong MS Desktop support experience within a busy environment.
In addition to strong analytical skills that enable comprehension and resolution of complex business and technical issues.
Advanced working knowledge of Windows 7 and Windows 8 operating systems, Intermediate knowledge of Windows Server 2008 R2 and 2012 R2. Intermediate knowledge of SQL Server 2008 and 2012 and Intermediate knowledge of Hyper-V virtualisation technologies
