Director / VP Mobile Marketing

Summary:

The Director / VP Mobile Marketing will establish the consumer proposition for Western Union Mobile’s service offering. The role will span multiple distribution channels including Wireless / Mobile (Voice, Text and WAP), Web and Print and will be focused on campaign development and ongoing customer relationship management.

Responsibilities:

Creates a comprehensive marketing plan template/toolkit/play-book for mobile partners and Western Union regional teams including business-to-business and consumer marketing. Ensures that mobile marketing learnings are shared across all regions and implementations. Enhances the marketing toolkit and associated collateral over time.

Works closely with mobile partners and regional teams to customize a shared consumer marketing plan based on local needs and the specific service offering. Clearly defines marketing roles and deliverables between parties including Western Union regional teams and mobile partner. Researches local consumer demographics, consumer behaviour and existing mobile offering in-market (print, SMS, web, location, event, etc). Creates new materials and designs for local consumer offering. Executes local marketing plans and optimizes based on performance and consumer feedback. Introduces and maintains quality CRM programs.

Supports and customizes business-to-business marketing to mobile partners globally. Customizes collateral (print, web, etc) and branding guidelines based on local service offering

Additional:

Up to 40% travel may be required.
