Head of Operations

Summary:

The Head of Operations for Western Union Mobile is responsible for implementing and managing Western Union on a global basis. Core areas of responsibility include: Western Union Service Development, Operational Implementation and Mobile Customer Integration and Servicing. The incumbent will act as Head of Operations for the mobile business worldwide. Two key roles include:

Core Service Development: The Head of Operations, Western Union Mobile is responsible for standing up a new product and services platform capable of global service delivery. Key responsibilities include: gathering mobile channel requirements, setting mobile service definition, establishing technical project objectives and timelines, managing development budgets and delivering services on time and in budget.

Basic Operations / Service Management: The Head of Operations, Western Union Mobile is responsible for the day to day management and administration of Western Union mobile services. Key responsibilities include: Partner enrolment and on-boarding, front end transactional services, back-end settlement services and operations / support services from call center to exception management / investigations.

Responsibilities:

Develop for the Executive Committee, mobile channel strategies for both short term and long term implementation.

Implement for each Western Union region core services capabilities which will enable the structured growth of the mobile channel.

Oversee the design and development of a mobile services infrastructure (technical and operational) that is capable of delivering services globally.

Implement new customer acquisition strategies in concert with regional teams to drive adoption and/or growth of mobile channel.

Manage Mobile P&L, maximizing revenue while maintain control over all expenses related to the business.

Develop and manage prioritization for mobile resources that support all corporate mobile initiatives

Additional:

Up to 50% travel may be required.
